About the Artist
Tamrin Gellert Ghai is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from New York City, currently based in Lewiston, Maine, pursuing a degree in Music at Bates College. With over 15 years of experience on piano, 10 years on ukulele, and 8 years on guitar, Tamrin brings versatility and emotional depth to her work. She has also recently added tabla to her musical repertoire.
Tamrin has released four singles, including her latest track, “musings from the chapel steps,” which explores the complexities that come with spirituality, lack of religion, and letting go of relationships. Songwriting has been central to her life since she was 12, serving as an outlet for processing emotions and connecting with others.
